These Terms apply to visitors, free users, paid users, workspace members, agencies, and anyone who accesses or uses Cite Ready AI.

You may use Cite Ready AI only if you are legally able to enter into these Terms.

Cite Ready AI provides audit findings and recommendations. It does not guarantee rankings, AI citations, traffic, revenue, leads, conversions, or inclusion in any AI-generated answer.

You are responsible for how you use Cite Ready AI.

You agree that you will:

• Submit only websites you own, manage, or are authorized to audit
• Not submit private, restricted, sensitive, or unauthorized URLs
• Not use the service for illegal, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes
• Not interfere with or disrupt the service
• Not bypass rate limits, access controls, payment controls, or usage restrictions
• Not reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or misuse the platform
• Not upload, submit, or transmit harmful code or malicious content
• Not misrepresent audit results or imply guarantees that Cite Ready AI does not provide

You are responsible for reviewing audit results before using or sharing them.

Cite Ready AI analyzes publicly accessible URLs submitted by users.

Audit results are based on the page state and publicly available signals at the time of the audit. Results may change if the website changes, search systems change, AI systems change, or third-party data becomes unavailable.

Audit findings may be incomplete, outdated, or affected by technical limitations, blocked crawlers, page errors, redirects, rate limits, robots rules, authentication requirements, or other factors.

Users are responsible for deciding whether and how to implement recommendations.

Cite Ready AI does not provide legal advice, financial advice, guaranteed SEO advice, or guaranteed AI search placement.

Some features require an account.

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure.

If workspace, team, or client features are available, account owners or admins may control access, billing, reports, and user permissions.

We may suspend or restrict accounts if we believe there is abuse, fraud, unauthorized use, payment failure, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

Cite Ready AI may offer free and paid plans.

Paid features may be subject to:

• Plan, audit, report, workspace, and usage limits
• Renewal terms, payment terms, and taxes where applicable
• Usage restrictions shown in the product or checkout flow

Billing is handled by our payment provider, Freemius, which acts as the merchant of record for subscriptions and purchases.

By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the selected payment method according to the plan terms shown at checkout.

Prices and plan features may change. If changes affect active paid subscriptions, we will provide notice where required.

Failed payments may result in limited, suspended, or cancelled access to paid features.

You may cancel a subscription according to the cancellation flow provided through the account, billing portal, or payment provider.

Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past payments unless required by law or stated in the applicable checkout policy.

Access to paid features may continue until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated by the payment provider or plan terms.

Refunds, where available, may be handled through the payment or subscription provider. Abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms may make an account ineligible for a refund.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. By starting to use the paid digital service during this period, you request immediate access and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been fully provided. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

You may not use Cite Ready AI to:

• Scan websites you are not authorized to review
• Target private systems, admin panels, internal tools, or restricted URLs
• Perform unauthorized security testing
• Overload, disrupt, or attack infrastructure
• Bypass usage limits or access controls
• Resell the service without permission
• Copy or white-label the platform without permission
• Submit harmful, illegal, or sensitive content
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Break applicable laws or regulations
• Mislead clients, customers, or third parties about what the audit results guarantee

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we believe the service is being misused.

Cite Ready AI owns the platform, website, product design, software, code, brand, templates, scoring logic, report formats, and related intellectual property.

Users retain ownership of their own websites, submitted URLs, business content, and materials they provide.

Subject to these Terms, users may use generated audit reports for their own business purposes.

If a user's plan allows agency or client reporting, the user may share reports with clients as part of their services.

Users may not copy, reproduce, resell, reverse engineer, or create a competing service based on Cite Ready AI's platform, reports, scoring logic, design, or internal methods without written permission.

Cite Ready AI may use automated systems and AI-assisted analysis to generate findings, recommendations, simulations, summaries, and reports.

AI-assisted outputs are provided for informational purposes and should be reviewed before implementation.

Outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or recommendations that are not suitable for every website or business.

You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether to use any recommendations.

Cite Ready AI is not responsible for website changes, business decisions, SEO decisions, content changes, or technical implementations made based on audit results.

Cite Ready AI may rely on third-party services for authentication, payments, hosting, storage, analytics, monitoring, email, support, and other operations.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Cite Ready AI is not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, payment processors, search engines, AI systems, or external services that may interact with or affect audit results.

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The service may be affected by maintenance, updates, bugs, outages, third-party provider issues, security measures, abuse prevention systems, or changes in external websites, search engines, or AI systems.

We may add, change, limit, or remove features at any time.

You may stop using Cite Ready AI at any time.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms or misuse the service
• Your payment fails
• Your account creates security or legal risk
• We are required to do so by law
• Continued access could harm Cite Ready AI, users, or third parties

After termination, some provisions of these Terms will continue to apply, including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and any terms that by nature should survive.

Cite Ready AI is provided on an as is and as available basis.

We do not guarantee that:

• Your website will be cited by AI systems
• Your search rankings will improve
• Your traffic will increase
• Your revenue or leads will increase
• Every issue will be found
• Every recommendation will be suitable for your website
• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• External AI systems or search engines will behave in a predictable way

Audit results are informational and should not be treated as guaranteed SEO, legal, financial, or professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cite Ready AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

This includes loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, business interruption, reputational harm, or decisions made based on audit results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cite Ready AI's total liability for any claim related to the service will be limited to the amount paid by the user for the service during the three months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply.

You agree to defend and hold Cite Ready AI harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your submission of unauthorized URLs
• Your violation of laws or third-party rights
• Your use or sharing of audit reports
• Disputes with your clients, customers, or users
• Website changes or decisions made based on audit results

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to these Terms, Cite Ready AI, or your use of the Service, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the courts of the Republic of Maldives, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the Last updated date. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice through the website, product, or email where appropriate.

Continued use of Cite Ready AI after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
